The ASIO interface standard developed by Steinberg over 30 years ago has become an integral part of modern recording studios, making it possible to connect audio interfaces to a computer simply and with low latency. All of our interfaces work effortlessly with Windows and Mac computers, while all UR interfaces also work seamlessly with iOS devices. This is a test of the Steinberg UR22 USB audio interface. It's my first attempt at recording with the UR 22. My first impression is it's an excellent recordi.

My Steinberg UR22 mkII shows in Sound Preferences on startup and works in other programs. Then, the moment I start Logic Pro X the device disappears.

Things I've tried already:

- checked I'm running the latest drivers and firmware

- reinstalling driver(being sure to follow the special instructions here )

- reinstalling firmware

- reinstalling Logic Pro X

- multiple re-boots.

No joy :-(
